bloXmove.NG and NFTicket ready to launch!
Hell yeah, time flies. The first quarter of 2023 is already over and spring is starting in many cities where the bloXmove team and the BLXM community is located, and the whole #web3 and #Crypto space feels a little more stable and sunny 😉 😎🌤️
And with spring in the air and in our step, let’s get right to it. Main focus areas for Q1/2023 were
- Launch of the BLXM “Decentralized UBER” in Nigeria.
- NFTicket (for art, event tickets and certificates).
- G2C: go-to-chain for decentralized mobility as well as renewable energy applications.
- Strengthening of community management and ecosystem.
bloXmove.NG: Decentralized UBER for Nigeria
- Pilot agreed and to be started within weeks.
- Apps passed beta test and ready to be launched in Google Play and Apple AppStore.
- Local team grown by two more members.
In the last weeks we finalized the contract negotiations with a first mobility partner called MetrocabsNG and made the official partnership announcement on March 17, 2023. We have grown the team by one sales professional and an Operations Manager and plan to continue growing the team as we increase traction.
The two applications (passenger and driver) are in stable beta now and will be brought to production within our pilot in the next few weeks.
Note that the complete protocol is powered by NFTicket for Mobility.
The operational team is 99% done with the development work and is fixing the last, minor bugs.
Both apps will be available on GooglePlay and AppleStore from Day 1!
BLXM ecosystem and community support
We started the first two rounds of the beta testing with more than 30 testers within our new discord and zealy (a.k.a crew3) channels.
The new channels (discord and zealy) are still small but already provide highly immersive channels of engagement for those who do not only want to chat and socialize but are actively contributing and building.
THANKS. The BLXM community helped a lot to find bugs, improve the code and the user interface. Reward payouts will be announced and paid out soon!
We also improved the look and feel of the bloXmoveNG webpage to tell our stories and the clear benefits for our customers: riders, mobility companies and cities.
NFTicket: access control, mobility and certifications
NFTicket raises more and more attention. We are in development sprints with event organizations like the Digital Summit Baden-Wuerttemberg, art galleries and companies offering green CO2 certificates.
We further developed the original usage of our NFTicket for the mobility ride hailing case and optimized the deployment for Nigeria — meaning: we are ready and the NFTicket is in use for the full product launch in May.
“Decentralized Mobility” on peaq and Polkadot
As part of our go-to-chain(G2C) strategy we struck a partnership with peaq.io to bring Decentralized Mobility to peaq and Polkadot.
This initiative will bring a refactored version of our Nigerian “Decentralized UBER” to the peaq network. Based on peaq’s EoT approach to enable smart devices to become autonomous economic agents, we will add “asset rental” to the existing “ride hailing” form of mobility services.
This project is supported by a grant from the peaq foundation.
This is part of our ongoing efforts to establish ourselves as THE protocol for #DeMo (Decentralized Mobility) — across as many networks and protocols as possible.
During a workshop period we defined the tech stacks and the working mode, and approved a joint grant. bloXmove dev team will start the implementation from this week on.

General Outlook
- Sure, the launch of our decentralized mobility application is our biggest milestone. Around that big date we will organize and launch community programs and engagement for a BIG, joint CELEBRATION PARTY. Stay tuned.
- We plan to strengthen the discord communication and developer community.
- Last but not least, YOUR — our important BLXM investors can expect and look forward to the redesign of the investor portal with more UX and simplified solutions in the next months.
