Decentralized Mobility gaining traction in Nigeria
Today, we can officially announce the partnership between Decentralized Mobility Limited in Nigeria, a subsidiary of bloXmove, and MetrocabsNG — an important mobility provider in Nigeria. This partnership would allow MetrocabsNG to deploy our revolutionary decentralized application into their business operation. With that, Metrocabs is the official provider of the very first mobility dApp — for us a kind of small world premiere.
Also, the partnership will enhance MetrocabsNG’s growth and marks the commencement of our business model in Nigeria. Additionally, this is an important step toward achieving our roadmap in becoming the the world’s first and leading decentralized mobility platform.
MetrocabsNG CEO John Solesi said: “We see that Decentralized Mobility Limited is committed to providing a decentralized ecosystem for mobility providers in Nigeria, and we want to be among the first companies to deploy the technology in our business. We believe in the technology to the extent that we would like to be the sole operator of the app in Jos.”
It is an important day for us, join the bloXmove and bloXmoveNG team in celebrating. But do not forget to test the beta version 🙂 Now it is even more important.
Our partnership talks with other mobility companies are ongoing, and we will continuously work on building an ecosystem where if one mobility provider stops, another will continue.
About the partners:
MetrocabsNG is a mobility company with a head office in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. MetrocabsNG has over 30 (thirty) cars/buses in its fleet. bloXmove is committed to the decentralization of the mobility industry, and that is what we are presently doing with our partners in Nigeria. We believe that mobility providers should have unhindered access to their customers and data. Every customers’ touch points should be managed by the mobility providers, and no one should interfere in this regard. All we do is create a platform for mobility providers to operate, and help drive more customers to mobility providers, and, for these services, we charge a negligible amount as a commission fee.
